A Real ROI For Social Media

In the social media world, business owners are often asking for the ROI. It’s a tough question to answer, and the answer usually revolves more around brand placement than dollars coming in.

I often use Facebook’s check-in service and Foursquare‘s to see of what value either may serve. They’re useful if you’re meeting people somewhere, or if Starbucks is offering a deal, but other than that, I never really saw the reward

But businesses are getting more creative, like this gas company offering discounts at the pump for check-ins. Very smart.
